We're all being urged to help to save the environment through little tweaks to the way we live. To encourage us through 2012, MyYate supporter and local recycling expert SITA UK is providing a series of inspirational monthly green tips.

Our new February competition gives you the chance to treat two children to a free Saturday morning film show at Yate's brand new cinema.

The Armadillo Youth Venue is launching Saturday morning cinema sessions for children in March. Visit their new film page to follow developments.

And there's another chance to win lunch at SUBWAY®.

Let your children have a tactile time at Yate Heritage Centre this half term, with workshops on textile crafts and Roman surgery.
