Around once a month, we send an email newsletter to anyone who would like to receive it, letting them know what's new on MyYate - new competitions, new events, and new things to see and do.

Ready to brave the elements yet? There are plenty of outdoors events lined up in March to persuade us that Spring really is on the way...

Discover local fossils and bluebells on walks with the Avon Wildlife Trust, or go litter picking with the Friends of Yate Common.

There's plenty for little ones too, with Mini Tennis, an ever-popular NCT Nearly New Sale, and coffee morning for Polish families.

Yate West Gate Centre is now open for business. Most services are already up and running, with more to arrive this month and next. Visit the Yate West Gate Centre page for full details.

Two lucky shoppers collected vouchers worth a total of £120 in last month's Business Association Prize Draw. The draw aimed to boost local trade, and Chris Taylor and Claire Wiltshire can spend their winnings in a selection of Yate and Sodbury shops and businesses.

Next month we'll be offering the chance to spruce yourself up for Spring with a free facial at Rachel's Beauty World in Chipping Sodbury - watch this space!

The "We Love Yate" survey is still running, so please share your thoughts about living in Yate, so the Yate Community Plan team can make sure plans are on track.
