Are you looking for funding for your organisation?
GRANTnet is a service which can help to identify suitable funding and grants for activities or projects. It allows community and voluntary groups, social enterprises and small businesses to search across a huge range of funding sources.
The committee has friendly meetings about four times a year and welcomes new members. You don't have to be an expert - what matters is your willingness to help patients by supporting the two surgeries (Kennedy Way and Badminton), especially with fundraising. If you would like to join, please leave a message at reception including your name, address and contact number.
Kennedy Way, Yate, South Gloucestershire, BS37 4AA
For most of us, the prospect of having a baby is exciting, absorbing and maybe just a bit frightening. Afterwards, when the excitement is over, mums react, quite naturally, in lots of different ways.
The lucky ones are bubbling over with happiness. Others feel lonely, exhausted and sometimes deeply depressed. Only other mothers with toddlers or new babies understand how you feel, which is why we started MAMA. Join our group and you can meet new friends, share your feelings openly and both give and get a lot of real help.
If you're interested, contact Denise Beddow on 01454 324654. Yate MAMA meets Tuesdays 10am-12noon, term time, in the Main Hall, Shireway Community Centre.
