Shopmobility
Shopmobility offers scooter and wheelchair (powered and manual) hire to anyone with limited mobility, to give them the freedom to visit shops and leisure facilities in Yate.
Anyone is welcome: young and old, with temporary or permanent disabilities or injuries. You do not need to be registered disabled to use Shopmobility.
The service is free to anyone with a Diamond card, £3 for other users.

9.30am-4pm Tuesday and Friday
9.30am-2pm Thursday and Saturday
We have also started a satellite operation at The Willow Brook Centre, Bradley Stoke Way, Bradley Stoke, South Gloucestershire BS32 8BS, on Thursdays 11am-4pm. Call 07503 070175 for more information.
About Shopmobility
South Gloucestershire Shopmobility has over 400 members, and is affiliated to the National Federation of Shopmobility. Click here to visit www.shopmobilityuk.org.
The Management committee consists of six trustees and five members who meet are held monthly, and the project is supported by Access-Ability.
Friends of Shopmobility
The project is looking for volunteers to join a “Friends of Shopmobility South Gloucestershire” group.
They need to be honest, reliable, caring people, with no previous experience necessary, just enthusiasm and the commitment to spend a few hours assisting to raise funds and organise events and rambles to increase the quality of life for mobility-impaired people.
